Jordan Friedman - Co-Founder & CEO
Born and raised on Bainbridge Island, Washington, Jordan earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College before serving four years as an Army Intelligence Officer. He spent the first chapter of his post-military career in strategic marketing and business development at leading high-tech companies like Red Hat, Microsoft, Avalara, and Comcast, earning his MBA at Duke University along the way. After a hiatus devoted to family, creative pursuits, and community service, Jordan launched the latest chapter of his career as an entrepreneur in clean energy and building technology.
During his spare time, Jordan enjoys playing soccer, water skiing, dog-friendly hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He and his incredible wife of thirty years have two awesome Gen-Z kids.

Ram Melkote - Co-Founder & CTO
Ram brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling enterprise software products across startups and global organizations. He has a strong track record of leading platform innovation, AI-driven solutions, and product strategy in complex, data-intensive environments.
Most recently, Ram served as VP of Platform Technologies at Change Healthcare, where he led large-scale platform initiatives. He previously founded Sedara, where he developed an AI-powered mobile platform. At IBM, he led the customer analytics portfolio within Enterprise Marketing Management and drove integrations with Watson.
Earlier in his career, Ram held leadership roles at Oracle, where he was Director of Product Management for the Application Server product line, as well as at CA Technologies, Bell, and several venture-backed startups.
Ram holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and a BS in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Tom Hartman - Co-Founder & Principal
Tom is a Michigan State University educated mechanical engineer who has spent his entire career in the comfort conditioning industry. He discovered the Equal Marginal Performance Principle, a direct multi-variable control method for true energy optimization, and has employed it many times in his system designs. This and other multi-variable control technologies have won him numerous awards for innovation and design excellence.
Much of Tom’s career has been focused on improving the indoor environmental quality in office environments by providing a more direct connection between individual occupants and the building comfort system. The recent proliferation and innovation in the arenas of sensor, control, and network technologies, along with AI and IoT, allow Tom to realize his vision of individually controlled conditioning of office environments.
Nathan Rothman - Co-Founder & Principal
Nathan is a successful entrepreneur who founded and served as CEO of companies in multiple industries, to include HVAC technology. In each instance he received industry awards for his achievements in transforming innovative concepts into market-leading products.
Nathan has served in leadership roles for companies ranging from early-stage startups with successful exits to the Fortune 500. He has extensive experience in all aspects of global business operations, to include bringing greenfield manufacturing facilities to Asia.
